Since it began in mid-2024, the Pacific Climate Media and Traditional Knowledge Project has supported training in shooting and content production foreight emerging Pacific and First Nations Australian content makers; each with a passion for climate change storytelling.
Selected from over 130 applicants across the Pacific region, these content makers honed their storytelling and mobile journalism skills as part of a specially designed workshop in Vanuatu in September 2024.
Following this workshop, participants are now producing social and digital video content for ABC and partner platforms, bringing traditional knowledge stories from their home countries to global audiences.
