The Cabo Verdean government has approved financing agreements with international organisations, worth a total of around €12.7 million, to strengthen the country's renewable energy and energy efficiency project, the deputy prime minister announced on Monday.
“The main objective of the project is to strengthen the environment for a more diversified economy by improving fiscal and macroeconomic resilience and the foundations for private sector growth,” Olavo Correia said on Facebook. Most of the funding, around €11.6 million, comes from the International Development Association (IDA).
