Polyfest, held this week in Auckland, New Zealand, saw thousands of high school students gather to compete in music, dance and speech performances.
“Auckland’s Polyfest is a beloved annual festival where students proudly celebrate their Polynesian heritage through the power of the performing arts. Since its humble beginnings in Ōtara in 1976, it has become one of the world’s largest Polynesian festivals, fueling a dynamic competition between talented secondary school students.”
